How to cancel Adobe Creative Cloud

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Adobe Creative Cloud — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if Adobe Creative Cloud bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Get notified at launch

Cancel Adobe Creative Cloud in 5 steps

  1. Sign in to account.adobe.com in a browser.
  2. Open Plans (or Account → Plans) and find your plan.
  3. Select Manage plan, then Cancel your plan.
  4. Choose a cancellation reason and follow the prompts.
  5. Confirm, and save the cancellation confirmation email as proof.

What happens after you cancel

Your access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. Note: annual plans billed monthly can carry an early-termination fee if you cancel before the year is up — Adobe shows any fee before you confirm.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

If you bought Creative Cloud through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you must cancel through that store's subscription settings instead of the Adobe site.

Charged after cancelling Adobe Creative Cloud?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Adobe Creative Cloud — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will Adobe Creative Cloud charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Adobe Creative Cloud keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Adobe Creative Cloud.
Does cancelling Adobe Creative Cloud delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Adobe Creative Cloud's settings.
How do I know my Adobe Creative Cloud cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Adobe Creative Cloud and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.

Cancelling something? Keep the proof.

CancelProof records your cancellation automatically — so if you're charged anyway, you're covered.
