How to cancel Amazon Music
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Amazon Music — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Amazon Music in 5 steps
- Open amazon.com in a web browser and sign in to your account.
- Hover over your account name in the top-right corner and select Memberships & Subscriptions.
- Find your Amazon Music Unlimited subscription and click Cancel membership.
- Choose a reason if asked, click Submit and continue to cancel, then click Confirm cancellation on the final page.
- Save the cancellation confirmation email as proof that your subscription was ended.
What happens after you cancel
You'll keep access to Amazon Music Unlimited until your next billing date, then your account automatically reverts to the free, ad-supported standard Amazon Music tier. You won't be charged again after cancelling, and any purchased music you own remains available in your library.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
Important: If you started your Amazon Music subscription through Apple/iTunes or Google Play (for example, via the Amazon Music app on an iPhone or Android device), you can't cancel it on Amazon's website. You must cancel through Apple's subscription settings or your Google Play account instead.
