How to cancel Apple TV+
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Apple TV+ — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Apple TV+ in 5 steps
- Open tv.apple.com in a web browser and click Sign In if needed.
- Click the account icon at the top of the page, then choose Settings.
- Scroll to Subscriptions and click Manage.
- Click Cancel Subscription and confirm.
- Keep the confirmation email from Apple as proof of your cancellation.
What happens after you cancel
When you cancel, you keep access to Apple TV+ until the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again after that. If you cancel during a free trial you may lose access immediately, so it's usually best to cancel right before the trial or renewal date.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
Important: If you subscribed to Apple TV+ through a bundle or a third party, the cancel steps differ. Apple One or carrier/TV-provider bundles must be managed where you signed up. If you subscribe through Google Play (on an Android device), cancel in the Apple TV app on Android or at play.google.com; if you were billed through Amazon or another platform, cancel through that service's subscription settings instead.
Charged after cancelling Apple TV+?
It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Apple TV+ — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.
