How to cancel Badoo
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Badoo — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Badoo in 5 steps
- Cancel where you subscribed — most Badoo subscriptions are billed through the app store.
- iPhone: Settings → your name → 'Subscriptions' → 'Badoo' → 'Cancel Subscription'.
- Android: Play Store → profile → 'Payments & subscriptions' → 'Subscriptions' → Badoo → 'Cancel'.
- If you subscribed on badoo.com, sign in there → 'Settings' → 'Manage/Cancel subscription'.
- Cancel before your renewal date and confirm.
What happens after you cancel
You keep Badoo Premium until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free version. Deleting the app does NOT cancel billing — cancel where you subscribed. No refund for the current period is typical.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
Most Badoo subscriptions are billed via the Apple App Store or Google Play — cancel in that store's Subscriptions section, not just by deleting the app.
Charged after cancelling Badoo?
It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Badoo — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.
