How to cancel Blinkist
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Blinkist — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Blinkist in 5 steps
- Cancel where you subscribed: blinkist.com on the web, or your app store if you signed up in the app.
- Web: sign in → 'Account settings' → 'Manage subscription' → 'Cancel'.
- App store: open Subscriptions and select Blinkist → 'Cancel'.
- Cancel before your renewal date — free trials convert automatically.
- Confirm the cancellation.
What happens after you cancel
You keep Blinkist Premium until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free tier. Free trials convert to a paid year, so cancel before the trial ends. Blinkist offers a refund within a limited window on new purchases.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's Subscriptions section instead of on blinkist.com.
Charged after cancelling Blinkist?
It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Blinkist — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.
