How to cancel Blue Apron

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Blue Apron — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if Blue Apron bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel Blue Apron in 6 steps

  1. Sign in at blueapron.com from a web browser (cancellation is web-only, not in the app).
  2. Click your name in the top-right → 'Account' → 'Manage Subscription' / 'Settings'.
  3. Select 'Cancel Subscription' — you may first be offered to skip weeks or pause.
  4. Cancel before your weekly cutoff — an order already processed will still ship and be charged.
  5. Decline retention offers and confirm.
  6. Confirm you receive a cancellation email.

What happens after you cancel

Cancelling stops future boxes. Any box already past its weekly cutoff will still be delivered and billed. You can 'skip' upcoming weeks instead of cancelling if you may return. Blue Apron generally doesn't refund a box already processed.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

Blue Apron bills you directly, so cancel on the Blue Apron website. There's no app-store subscription to manage.

Charged after cancelling Blue Apron?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Blue Apron — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will Blue Apron charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Blue Apron keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Blue Apron.
Does cancelling Blue Apron delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Blue Apron's settings.
How do I know my Blue Apron cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Blue Apron and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
