How to cancel Calm
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Calm — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Calm in 5 steps
- Open a web browser, go to calm.com, and log in to your account (this only works if you subscribed directly through Calm's website).
- Click the profile icon in the top-right corner and choose Settings.
- Select Manage Subscription.
- Click Cancel Subscription and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.
- Watch for the cancellation confirmation email from Calm and save it as proof that your subscription will not renew.
What happens after you cancel
Cancelling stops the next automatic charge, but you keep full access to Calm Premium until the end of your current billing or free-trial period. Your account, saved sessions, and progress remain on the app, and you can resubscribe at any time.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
Most Calm subscriptions are bought in-app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and Calm cannot cancel those for you. If you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, cancel in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > Calm > Cancel Subscription. If you subscribed on Android, open the Google Play app, then go to Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Calm > Cancel subscription. Deleting the Calm app alone does not stop billing.
Charged after cancelling Calm?
It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Calm — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.
