How to cancel ClassPass
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling ClassPass — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel ClassPass in 6 steps
- Open the ClassPass app or sign in at classpass.com.
- Go to your profile → 'Account Settings' / 'Membership'.
- Select 'Cancel Membership' — you may first be offered to pause or downgrade; decline if you want to cancel.
- Choose a reason if prompted and confirm.
- Cancel before your billing date, since the plan renews automatically each cycle.
- Confirm you receive a cancellation email.
What happens after you cancel
You keep access until the end of the current cycle; remaining credits are usually forfeited at cycle end (some roll over per plan rules). ClassPass renews automatically, so cancel before the renewal date. You can also 'pause' instead of cancelling if you'll return.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
If you signed up through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel through that store's Subscriptions section rather than in ClassPass.
Charged after cancelling ClassPass?
It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from ClassPass — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.
