Cancel ClickUp in 5 steps

  1. Sign in at clickup.com (the Workspace owner/admin cancels).
  2. Open 'Settings' → 'Upgrade' / 'Billing'.
  3. Select 'Cancel plan' / downgrade to Free Forever.
  4. Cancel before your renewal date — monthly and annual plans auto-renew.
  5. Get written confirmation and keep it.

What happens after you cancel

You keep your ClickUp plan until the end of the current billing period, then it stops (or reverts to any free tier). Annual plans are prepaid, so cancelling turns off the next renewal — cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

ClickUp is billed on its website. If you subscribed through an app store, cancel in that store's Subscriptions section instead.

Will ClickUp charge me after I cancel?

Does cancelling ClickUp delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in ClickUp's settings.
How do I know my ClickUp cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from ClickUp and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
