How to cancel Cloudflare
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Cloudflare — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Cloudflare in 5 steps
- Sign in at dash.cloudflare.com.
- Open the domain/account → 'Billing' / the specific paid plan (e.g. Pro, Workers Paid).
- Select 'Cancel' / 'Downgrade to Free' for each paid subscription.
- Cancel before your renewal date — plans bill monthly.
- Keep the confirmation.
What happens after you cancel
You keep your Cloudflare plan until the end of the current billing period, then it reverts to any free tier. Annual plans are prepaid; cancelling turns off the next renewal. Cancel before your renewal date, and export/download anything you need first.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
Cloudflare is billed on its website. If you subscribed through a reseller or app store, cancel there instead.
Charged after cancelling Cloudflare?
It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Cloudflare — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.
