How to cancel Confluence
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Confluence — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Confluence in 5 steps
- Sign in at admin.atlassian.com (a billing admin cancels).
- Open 'Billing' → 'Manage subscriptions'.
- Select Confluence → 'Cancel subscription' and follow the prompts.
- Cancel before your renewal date — monthly and annual plans auto-renew.
- Export any pages/spaces you need and keep the confirmation.
What happens after you cancel
You keep your Confluence plan until the end of the current billing period, then it reverts to any free tier. Annual plans are prepaid; cancelling turns off the next renewal. Cancel before your renewal date, and export/download anything you need first.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
Confluence is billed on its website. If you subscribed through a reseller or app store, cancel there instead.
Charged after cancelling Confluence?
It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Confluence — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.
