How to cancel Deezer

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Deezer — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if Deezer bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel Deezer in 6 steps

  1. Sign in at deezer.com from a web browser — not the app.
  2. Click your name/profile in the top-right and open 'Account settings'.
  3. Open the 'Subscription' / 'My subscription' section.
  4. Select 'Cancel my subscription' and follow the prompts.
  5. Decline any offers to pause or discount.
  6. Confirm you receive a cancellation email.

What happens after you cancel

Your Deezer Premium features stay active until the end of the current paid period, then your account reverts to the free tier. Deezer does not usually refund the current period, so cancel before your renewal date.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or a mobile-carrier bundle, you must cancel through that provider — not on the Deezer website.

Charged after cancelling Deezer?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Deezer — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will Deezer charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Deezer keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Deezer.
Does cancelling Deezer delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Deezer's settings.
How do I know my Deezer cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Deezer and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.

Cancelling something? Keep the proof.

CancelProof records your cancellation automatically — so if you're charged anyway, you're covered.
