How to cancel Deezer
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Deezer — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Deezer in 6 steps
- Sign in at deezer.com from a web browser — not the app.
- Click your name/profile in the top-right and open 'Account settings'.
- Open the 'Subscription' / 'My subscription' section.
- Select 'Cancel my subscription' and follow the prompts.
- Decline any offers to pause or discount.
- Confirm you receive a cancellation email.
What happens after you cancel
Your Deezer Premium features stay active until the end of the current paid period, then your account reverts to the free tier. Deezer does not usually refund the current period, so cancel before your renewal date.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or a mobile-carrier bundle, you must cancel through that provider — not on the Deezer website.
Charged after cancelling Deezer?
It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Deezer — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.
