Cancel Epic in 5 steps

  1. Cancel where you subscribed: getepic.com on the web, or your app store if you signed up in the app.
  2. Web: sign in → 'Account' → 'Manage Subscription' → 'Cancel'.
  3. App store: open Subscriptions and select Epic → 'Cancel'.
  4. Cancel before your renewal date — free trials convert automatically.
  5. Confirm the cancellation.

What happens after you cancel

You keep Epic (kids' reading) until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free/limited version. Free trials convert to paid, so cancel before the trial ends. No refund for the current period is typical.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's Subscriptions section instead of on getepic.com.

Frequently asked questions

Will Epic charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Epic keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Epic.
Does cancelling Epic delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Epic's settings.
How do I know my Epic cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Epic and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
