How to cancel ESPN+
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling ESPN+ — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel ESPN+ in 5 steps
- Sign in at plus.espn.com / espn.com from a web browser (cancel where you subscribed).
- Open 'Account' → 'Subscriptions' → ESPN+.
- Select 'Cancel Subscription' and follow the prompts.
- Cancel before your renewal date — ESPN+ auto-renews.
- Confirm you receive a cancellation email.
What happens after you cancel
You keep access until the end of the current billing period, then it won't renew. ESPN+ generally doesn't refund the current period. If you have the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle, manage it in your Disney account — cancelling ESPN+ alone may not be possible.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, Roku, or the Disney Bundle, cancel through that provider instead of espn.com.
Charged after cancelling ESPN+?
It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from ESPN+ — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.
