How to cancel Fantastical

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Fantastical — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if Fantastical bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel Fantastical in 5 steps

  1. Cancel where you subscribed — most Fantastical subscriptions are billed through the app store.
  2. iPhone/Mac: Settings/App Store → your name → 'Subscriptions' → 'Fantastical' → 'Cancel'.
  3. If you subscribed via Flexibits directly, sign in at flexibits.com → 'Account' → 'Cancel'.
  4. Cancel before your renewal date — free trials convert automatically.
  5. Confirm the cancellation.

What happens after you cancel

You keep your Fantastical plan until the end of the current billing period, then it stops (or reverts to any free tier). Annual plans are prepaid, so cancelling turns off the next renewal — cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

Most Fantastical (Flexibits) subscriptions are billed via the Apple App Store — cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, not just by deleting the app.

Charged after cancelling Fantastical?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Fantastical — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will Fantastical charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Fantastical keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Fantastical.
Does cancelling Fantastical delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Fantastical's settings.
How do I know my Fantastical cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Fantastical and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
