How to cancel Filmin

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Filmin — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if Filmin bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel Filmin in 5 steps

  1. Sign in at filmin.es from a web browser.
  2. Open 'Mi cuenta' → 'Suscripción'.
  3. Select 'Cancelar suscripción' / turn off renewal.
  4. Cancel before your renewal date.
  5. Keep the cancellation confirmation.

What happens after you cancel

You keep Filmin until the end of the current billing period, then it stops renewing. Trials and intro offers convert to the standard price, so cancel before that date. No refund for the current period is typical.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

If you subscribed to Filmin through the Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, or a TV/telecom provider, cancel through that provider instead of on the Filmin website.

Charged after cancelling Filmin?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Filmin — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will Filmin charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Filmin keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Filmin.
Does cancelling Filmin delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Filmin's settings.
How do I know my Filmin cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Filmin and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.

Cancelling something? Keep the proof.

CancelProof records your cancellation automatically — so if you're charged anyway, you're covered.
