How to cancel Fitbit Premium

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Fitbit Premium — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if Fitbit Premium bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel Fitbit Premium in 5 steps

  1. Cancel where you subscribed: fitbit.com on the web, or your app store if you signed up in the app.
  2. App: open Fitbit → 'You'/profile → 'Fitbit Premium' → 'Manage Subscription' → 'Cancel'.
  3. Web: sign in at fitbit.com → account → 'Manage Subscription'.
  4. Cancel before your renewal date — free trials convert automatically.
  5. Confirm the cancellation.

What happens after you cancel

You keep Fitbit Premium until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free features. Free trials (often bundled with a device) convert to paid, so cancel before the trial ends. No refund for the current period is typical.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's Subscriptions section instead of on fitbit.com.

Charged after cancelling Fitbit Premium?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Fitbit Premium — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will Fitbit Premium charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Fitbit Premium keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Fitbit Premium.
Does cancelling Fitbit Premium delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Fitbit Premium's settings.
How do I know my Fitbit Premium cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Fitbit Premium and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
