How to cancel Foxtel
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Foxtel — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Foxtel in 6 steps
- Sign in to My Foxtel at foxtel.com.au, or prepare to call Foxtel on 131 999.
- Full cancellation of a Foxtel iQ (satellite/cable) subscription is generally done by phone — the online flow may only let you change or pause.
- Give any required notice; your service and billing continue through the notice period.
- Ask about any remaining minimum-term or early-exit charges if you're still in contract.
- Arrange to return any Foxtel equipment (iQ box) if asked, to avoid non-return fees.
- Get a cancellation reference number and note the date.
What happens after you cancel
Foxtel iQ subscriptions typically require you to call to cancel, and a notice period and any in-contract exit fees may apply. Return the iQ box promptly if requested. Keep your cancellation reference. Foxtel's streaming products (BINGE, Kayo) are cancelled separately in their own accounts.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
Foxtel bills you directly. Foxtel's streaming brands — BINGE and Kayo Sports — are separate subscriptions managed in their own accounts, not through My Foxtel.
