How to cancel Fubo

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Fubo — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if Fubo bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel Fubo in 5 steps

  1. Sign in at fubo.tv from a web browser.
  2. Open your account → 'Subscription' / 'Manage Subscription'.
  3. Select 'Cancel Subscription' and follow the prompts (you may be offered to pause).
  4. Cancel before your renewal date — Fubo bills monthly in advance.
  5. Confirm you receive a cancellation email.

What happens after you cancel

You keep access until the end of the current billing period, then it won't renew. Fubo doesn't refund the current month, so cancel before renewal. You can also pause your subscription for a few months instead of cancelling.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, Roku, or Amazon, cancel through that provider instead of fubo.tv.

Charged after cancelling Fubo?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Fubo — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will Fubo charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Fubo keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Fubo.
Does cancelling Fubo delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Fubo's settings.
How do I know my Fubo cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Fubo and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
