Cancel GitHub Copilot in 5 steps

  1. Sign in at github.com from a web browser.
  2. Open 'Settings' → 'Billing and plans' → 'Plans and usage' (or 'Copilot').
  3. Find GitHub Copilot and select 'Cancel Copilot' / turn off the subscription.
  4. Cancel before your renewal date — monthly and annual plans auto-renew.
  5. Confirm the cancellation.
