Cancel happn in 5 steps

  1. Cancel where you subscribed — most happn subscriptions are billed through the app store.
  2. iPhone: Settings → your name → 'Subscriptions' → 'happn' → 'Cancel Subscription'.
  3. Android: Play Store → profile → 'Payments & subscriptions' → 'Subscriptions' → happn → 'Cancel'.
  4. If you subscribed on the web, sign in and cancel in your account/settings.
  5. Cancel before your renewal date and confirm.

What happens after you cancel

You keep happn's paid features until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free version. Deleting the app does NOT cancel billing — cancel where you subscribed. No refund for the current period is typical.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

Most happn subscriptions are billed via the Apple App Store or Google Play — cancel in that store's Subscriptions section, not just by deleting the app.

Frequently asked questions

Will happn charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, happn keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling happn.
Does cancelling happn delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in happn's settings.
How do I know my happn cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from happn and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
