How to cancel hayu

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling hayu — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if hayu bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel hayu in 5 steps

  1. Sign in at hayu.com from a web browser (cancel where you subscribed).
  2. Open 'My Account' → 'Manage Subscription'.
  3. Select 'Cancel Subscription' and follow the prompts.
  4. Cancel before your renewal date — trials convert automatically.
  5. Confirm you receive a cancellation email.

What happens after you cancel

You keep access until the end of the current billing period, then it won't renew. hayu's free trial converts to paid, so cancel before it ends. No refund for the current period.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon, or a TV provider, cancel through that provider instead of on hayu.com.

Charged after cancelling hayu?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from hayu — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will hayu charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, hayu keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling hayu.
Does cancelling hayu delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in hayu's settings.
How do I know my hayu cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from hayu and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
