How to cancel Headway

Cancel Headway in 5 steps

  1. Cancel where you subscribed — most Headway subscriptions are billed through the app store.
  2. iPhone: Settings → your name → 'Subscriptions' → 'Headway' → 'Cancel Subscription'.
  3. Android: Play Store → profile → 'Payments & subscriptions' → 'Subscriptions' → Headway → 'Cancel'.
  4. If you subscribed on the web, sign in at the Headway site and cancel in account settings.
  5. Cancel before your renewal date — free trials convert automatically.

What happens after you cancel

You keep Headway Premium until the end of the current billing period, then it won't renew. Free trials convert to paid, so cancel before the trial ends. Deleting the app does not cancel billing — cancel where you subscribed.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

Most Headway subscriptions are billed via the Apple App Store or Google Play — cancel in that store's Subscriptions section.

Will Headway charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Headway keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Headway.
Does cancelling Headway delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Headway's settings.
How do I know my Headway cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Headway and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
