How to cancel Himalaya

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Himalaya — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if Himalaya bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel Himalaya in 5 steps

  1. Cancel where you subscribed — most Himalaya subscriptions are billed through the app store.
  2. iPhone: Settings → your name → 'Subscriptions' → 'Himalaya' → 'Cancel'.
  3. Android: Play Store → 'Payments & subscriptions' → 'Subscriptions' → Himalaya → 'Cancel'.
  4. If you subscribed on the web, sign in and cancel in account settings.
  5. Cancel before your renewal date.

What happens after you cancel

You keep Himalaya until the end of the current billing period, then it stops renewing. Free trials convert to paid, so cancel before the trial ends. Deleting the app does not cancel billing — cancel where you subscribed.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

Most Himalaya subscriptions are billed via the Apple App Store or Google Play — cancel in that store's Subscriptions section, not just by deleting the app.

Charged after cancelling Himalaya?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Himalaya — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will Himalaya charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Himalaya keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Himalaya.
Does cancelling Himalaya delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Himalaya's settings.
How do I know my Himalaya cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Himalaya and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.

Cancelling something? Keep the proof.

CancelProof records your cancellation automatically — so if you're charged anyway, you're covered.
