How to cancel Hinge
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Hinge — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Hinge in 6 steps
- Open the Hinge app and tap your profile, then the Settings gear.
- Tap 'Subscription' / 'Manage Subscription'.
- Hinge routes you to your app store, since the subscription is billed there — tap through to it.
- In the store's Subscriptions screen, select your Hinge plan and choose 'Cancel Subscription'.
- Confirm the cancellation.
- Verify the subscription shows as cancelled or expiring.
What happens after you cancel
You keep paid Hinge features (HingeX / Hinge+) until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free version. Deleting the app does NOT cancel billing — you must cancel in the app store. No prorated refund for the current period.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
Hinge is billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, so cancel there: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or Play Store → Subscriptions.
Charged after cancelling Hinge?
