How to cancel Hootsuite
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Hootsuite — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Hootsuite in 5 steps
- Sign in at hootsuite.com from a web browser (the account owner cancels).
- Open 'Account' → 'Billing' / 'Manage plan'.
- Select 'Cancel plan' — Hootsuite requires cancelling before the renewal date, and may require a support contact for some plans.
- Decline retention offers and confirm.
- Get a cancellation confirmation and keep it.
What happens after you cancel
You keep Hootsuite until the end of the current billing period, then it stops. Annual plans are prepaid and auto-renew; cancel before the renewal date, as Hootsuite generally doesn't refund the current term. Keep the confirmation.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
Hootsuite is billed on its website — there's no app-store subscription to manage.
