Cancel Jira in 5 steps

  1. Sign in at admin.atlassian.com (a billing admin cancels).
  2. Open 'Billing' → 'Manage subscriptions'.
  3. Select Jira → 'Cancel subscription' and follow the prompts.
  4. Cancel before your renewal date — monthly and annual plans auto-renew.
  5. Export any data you need and keep the confirmation.

What happens after you cancel

You keep your Jira plan until the end of the current billing period, then it reverts to any free tier. Annual plans are prepaid; cancelling turns off the next renewal. Cancel before your renewal date, and export/download anything you need first.
