How to cancel Keeper Security

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Keeper Security — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if Keeper Security bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel Keeper Security in 5 steps

  1. Sign in at keepersecurity.com (Web Vault) from a browser.
  2. Open 'Account' → 'Subscriptions & Add-Ons'.
  3. Turn off auto-renewal or select 'Cancel'.
  4. Export your vault first if you plan to leave.
  5. Cancel before your renewal date and keep the confirmation.

What happens after you cancel

You keep Keeper's paid features until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free tier's limits. Export your data before leaving. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's Subscriptions section instead of on keepersecurity.com.

Charged after cancelling Keeper Security?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Keeper Security — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will Keeper Security charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Keeper Security keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Keeper Security.
Does cancelling Keeper Security delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Keeper Security's settings.
How do I know my Keeper Security cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Keeper Security and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.

Cancelling something? Keep the proof.

CancelProof records your cancellation automatically — so if you're charged anyway, you're covered.
