How to cancel LastPass
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling LastPass — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel LastPass in 5 steps
- Sign in at lastpass.com from a web browser.
- Open 'Account Settings' → 'Manage Subscription' / 'Billing'.
- Turn off auto-renewal or select 'Cancel subscription'.
- Export your vault first if you plan to leave — you keep limited free access after downgrade.
- Cancel before your renewal date and keep the confirmation.
What happens after you cancel
You keep LastPass Premium/Families until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free tier. Export your vault before leaving. LastPass offers a refund within a limited window on new purchases. Cancel before your renewal date.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's Subscriptions section instead of on lastpass.com.
