How to cancel Luminary
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Luminary — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Luminary in 5 steps
- Cancel where you subscribed: luminarypodcasts.com on the web, or your app store if you signed up in the app.
- Web: sign in → 'Account' → 'Subscription' → 'Cancel'.
- App store: open Subscriptions and select Luminary → 'Cancel'.
- Cancel before your renewal date — trials convert automatically.
- Confirm the cancellation.
What happens after you cancel
You keep Luminary until the end of the current billing period, then it stops renewing. Free trials convert to paid, so cancel before the trial ends. Deleting the app does not cancel billing — cancel where you subscribed.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
Most Luminary subscriptions are billed via the Apple App Store or Google Play — cancel in that store's Subscriptions section, not just by deleting the app.
Charged after cancelling Luminary?
It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Luminary — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.
