How to cancel MasterClass
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling MasterClass — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel MasterClass in 6 steps
- Sign in at masterclass.com from a web browser (cancellation is web-based, not in the app).
- Click your profile → 'Account Settings' → 'Manage Plan' / 'Subscription'.
- Select 'Cancel' or turn off automatic renewal.
- Decline any retention offers.
- Confirm the cancellation and note the renewal date.
- Keep the confirmation email.
What happens after you cancel
MasterClass is billed annually and auto-renews. Cancelling turns off the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the current year. MasterClass offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on direct purchases — request a refund from support if you're within 30 days.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Roku, cancel through that provider's subscription settings instead.
