How to cancel myFICO

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling myFICO — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if myFICO bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

  5. Decline any retention offers and confirm.
  6. Keep the cancellation confirmation email.

What happens after you cancel

Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the current billing period. myFICO's free-trial plans convert to monthly billing, so cancel before the trial ends. No refund for the current month is typical.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

myFICO bills you directly on its website — there's no app-store subscription to cancel.

Charged after cancelling myFICO?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from myFICO — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will myFICO charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, myFICO keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling myFICO.
Does cancelling myFICO delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in myFICO's settings.
How do I know my myFICO cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from myFICO and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
