How to cancel OkCupid
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling OkCupid — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel OkCupid in 5 steps
- Cancel where you subscribed — most OkCupid subscriptions are billed through the app store.
- iPhone: Settings → your name → 'Subscriptions' → 'OkCupid' → 'Cancel Subscription'.
- Android: Play Store → profile → 'Payments & subscriptions' → 'Subscriptions' → OkCupid → 'Cancel'.
- If you subscribed on okcupid.com, sign in there → 'Settings' → 'Manage subscription' → 'Cancel'.
- Cancel before your renewal date and confirm.
What happens after you cancel
You keep OkCupid Premium/Boost until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free version. Deleting the app does NOT cancel billing — cancel where you subscribed. No refund for the current period is typical.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
Most OkCupid subscriptions are billed via the Apple App Store or Google Play — cancel in that store's Subscriptions section, not just by deleting the app.
