How to cancel Pandora

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Pandora — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if Pandora bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel Pandora in 5 steps

  1. Sign in at pandora.com from a web browser (cancel where you subscribed).
  2. Open 'Settings' → 'Subscription'.
  3. Turn off 'Auto-Renewal' / select 'Cancel Subscription'.
  4. Cancel before your renewal date.
  5. Confirm you receive a cancellation email.

What happens after you cancel

You keep Pandora Plus/Premium until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free ad-supported tier. Pandora generally doesn't refund the current period, so cancel before renewal.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Amazon, cancel through that provider instead of pandora.com.

Charged after cancelling Pandora?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Pandora — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will Pandora charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Pandora keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Pandora.
Does cancelling Pandora delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Pandora's settings.
How do I know my Pandora cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Pandora and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.

Cancelling something? Keep the proof.

CancelProof records your cancellation automatically — so if you're charged anyway, you're covered.
