How to cancel Patreon
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Patreon — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Patreon in 5 steps
- Sign in at patreon.com from a web browser (cancel where you joined).
- Open 'Settings' → 'Memberships' (or click the creator → 'Edit'/'Manage').
- Select 'Cancel membership' for the creator you want to stop supporting.
- Note that you keep access until the end of the paid period; cancel before it renews.
- Confirm the cancellation.
What happens after you cancel
Each Patreon membership is a separate recurring pledge to a creator — cancel each one individually. You keep access until the end of the current period, then it stops. Patreon bills upfront on join and then monthly; cancel before renewal. No refund for the current period is typical.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
