How to cancel PhotoRoom

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling PhotoRoom — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if PhotoRoom bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel PhotoRoom in 5 steps

  1. Cancel where you subscribed — most PhotoRoom subscriptions are billed through the app store.
  2. iPhone: Settings → your name → 'Subscriptions' → 'PhotoRoom' → 'Cancel'.
  3. Android: Play Store → 'Payments & subscriptions' → 'Subscriptions' → PhotoRoom → 'Cancel'.
  4. If you subscribed on the web, sign in and cancel in account settings.
  5. Cancel before your renewal date — free trials convert automatically.

What happens after you cancel

You keep your PhotoRoom plan until the end of the current billing period, then it stops (or reverts to any free tier). Annual plans are prepaid, so cancelling turns off the next renewal — cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

Most PhotoRoom Pro subscriptions are billed via the Apple App Store or Google Play — cancel in that store's Subscriptions section, not just by deleting the app.

Charged after cancelling PhotoRoom?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from PhotoRoom — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will PhotoRoom charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, PhotoRoom keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling PhotoRoom.
Does cancelling PhotoRoom delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in PhotoRoom's settings.
How do I know my PhotoRoom cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from PhotoRoom and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
