Cancel Readwise in 5 steps

  1. Sign in at readwise.io from a web browser (cancel where you subscribed).
  2. Open 'Account' → 'Billing' / 'Subscription'.
  3. Select 'Cancel subscription' and follow the prompts.
  4. Cancel before your renewal date — monthly and annual plans auto-renew.
  5. Confirm the cancellation.

What happens after you cancel

You keep your Readwise plan until the end of the current billing period, then it stops (or reverts to any free tier). Annual plans are prepaid, so cancelling turns off the next renewal — cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's Subscriptions section instead of on readwise.io.

Will Readwise charge me after I cancel?

Does cancelling Readwise delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Readwise's settings.
How do I know my Readwise cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Readwise and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
