How to cancel Rogers

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Rogers — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if Rogers bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel Rogers in 6 steps

  1. Sign in to MyRogers at rogers.com or the MyRogers app, or prepare to call Rogers on 1-888-764-3771.
  2. Cancelling a Rogers Internet, TV, Home Phone, or wireless service is generally done by phone (or via their online contact/chat flow).
  3. Request cancellation of the specific service and ask when service and billing will stop.
  4. Check whether you're still in a term agreement or owe a balance on a device/financing plan.
  5. Return any rented Rogers equipment (modem, receiver) to avoid non-return charges.
  6. Get a cancellation reference number and note the date.

What happens after you cancel

Rogers bills to the end of your cycle, and any device-financing balance becomes due on cancellation. If you're within a term agreement, early-cancellation fees may apply. Return rented equipment promptly. Keep your cancellation reference and confirm the final bill.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

Rogers bills you directly. Sub-brands Fido and Chatr, and any streaming add-ons on your bill, are managed separately.

Charged after cancelling Rogers?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Rogers — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will Rogers charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Rogers keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Rogers.
Does cancelling Rogers delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Rogers's settings.
How do I know my Rogers cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Rogers and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
