How to cancel Runway

Cancel Runway in 5 steps

  1. Sign in at runwayml.com from a web browser.
  2. Open 'Settings' → 'Billing' / 'Plan'.
  3. Select 'Cancel plan' / downgrade to Free.
  4. Cancel before your renewal date — monthly and annual plans auto-renew.
  5. Get written confirmation and keep it.

What happens after you cancel

You keep your Runway plan until the end of the current billing period, then it stops (or reverts to any free tier). Annual plans are prepaid, so cancelling turns off the next renewal — cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

Runway is billed on its website. If you subscribed through an app store, cancel in that store's Subscriptions section instead.

Will Runway charge me after I cancel?

Does cancelling Runway delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Runway's settings.
