How to cancel Sling TV
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Sling TV — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Sling TV in 5 steps
- Sign in at my.sling.com from a web browser.
- Open 'My Account' → 'Subscription'.
- Select 'Cancel Subscription' — you may be offered to pause your account for free instead.
- Cancel before your renewal date — Sling bills monthly in advance.
- Confirm you receive a cancellation email.
What happens after you cancel
You keep access until the end of the current billing period, then it won't renew. Sling doesn't refund the current month, so cancel before renewal. Sling also lets you 'pause' your subscription for a few months instead of cancelling.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, Roku, or Amazon, cancel through that provider instead of my.sling.com.
Charged after cancelling Sling TV?
It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Sling TV — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.
