How to cancel Sportsnet+

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Sportsnet+ — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if Sportsnet+ bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel Sportsnet+ in 5 steps

  1. Sign in at sportsnet.ca / plus.sportsnet.ca from a web browser (cancel where you subscribed).
  2. Open 'Account' → 'Manage Subscription'.
  3. Select 'Cancel Subscription' and follow the prompts.
  4. Cancel before your renewal date — Sportsnet+ auto-renews (monthly or annually).
  5. Confirm you receive a cancellation email.

What happens after you cancel

You keep access until the end of the current billing period, then it stops renewing. Sportsnet+ (formerly Sportsnet NOW) generally doesn't refund the current period, so cancel before renewal. Annual plans run to the end of the paid year.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon, or a TV provider (Rogers/Bell), cancel through that provider instead of on sportsnet.ca.

Charged after cancelling Sportsnet+?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Sportsnet+ — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will Sportsnet+ charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Sportsnet+ keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Sportsnet+.
Does cancelling Sportsnet+ delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Sportsnet+'s settings.
How do I know my Sportsnet+ cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Sportsnet+ and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
