Cancel Stash in 5 steps

  1. Sign in to the Stash app or stash.com.
  2. Go to 'Settings' → 'Manage Subscription' / 'Account'.
  3. Select 'Close account' / 'Cancel subscription' — Stash moves your invested funds out first.
  4. Withdraw or transfer your invested balance (this may have tax implications).
  5. Get a cancellation confirmation and keep it.

What happens after you cancel

Stash charges a flat monthly subscription fee. Cancelling stops the fee; you'll first move your invested balance out, which takes a few business days and may have tax implications. Close before the next monthly fee to avoid it.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's Subscriptions section too — but you must also move your invested funds via Stash itself.

Will Stash charge me after I cancel?

Does cancelling Stash delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Stash's settings.
How do I know my Stash cancellation worked?
