How to cancel Telus
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Telus — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Telus in 6 steps
- Sign in to My TELUS at telus.com or the My TELUS app, or prepare to call TELUS on 1-888-811-2323.
- Cancelling a TELUS Internet, Optik TV, Home Phone, or mobility service is generally done by phone (or their online contact/chat flow).
- Request cancellation of the specific service and confirm when service and billing will stop.
- Check for any remaining term commitment or device-financing balance.
- Return any rented TELUS equipment to avoid non-return charges.
- Get a cancellation reference number and note the date.
What happens after you cancel
TELUS bills to the end of your cycle, and any device-financing balance becomes due on cancellation. Early-cancellation fees may apply within a term commitment. Return rented equipment promptly. Keep your cancellation reference and confirm the final bill.
