How to cancel Tidal

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Tidal — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if Tidal bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel Tidal in 5 steps

  1. Sign in at tidal.com/account from a web browser (not the app).
  2. Open 'Manage subscription' / 'Subscription'.
  3. Select 'Cancel subscription' and follow the prompts.
  4. Cancel before your renewal date — Tidal auto-renews.
  5. Confirm you receive a cancellation email.

What happens after you cancel

You keep access until the end of the current billing period, then it won't renew. Tidal generally doesn't refund the current period, so cancel before your renewal date.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's Subscriptions section instead of at tidal.com.

Charged after cancelling Tidal?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Tidal — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will Tidal charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Tidal keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Tidal.
Does cancelling Tidal delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Tidal's settings.
How do I know my Tidal cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Tidal and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.

Cancelling something? Keep the proof.

CancelProof records your cancellation automatically — so if you're charged anyway, you're covered.
