How to cancel Trello
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Trello — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Trello in 5 steps
- Sign in at trello.com from a web browser (a Workspace admin cancels).
- Open your Workspace → 'Billing'.
- Select 'Cancel subscription' / downgrade to Free and follow the prompts.
- Cancel before your renewal date — monthly and annual plans auto-renew.
- Keep the cancellation confirmation.
What happens after you cancel
You keep the paid Trello plan (Standard/Premium) until the end of the current billing period, then the Workspace reverts to the Free plan. Your boards stay within the free limits. Annual plans are prepaid; cancelling turns off the next renewal. Cancel before your renewal date.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
Trello (Atlassian) is billed on its website. If you subscribed through an app store, cancel there instead.
Charged after cancelling Trello?
