How to cancel Uber One
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Uber One — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel Uber One in 6 steps
- Open the Uber or Uber Eats app and tap your profile icon.
- Tap 'Uber One' (or 'Account' → 'Uber One').
- Tap 'Manage Membership' → 'End Membership' / 'Cancel Membership'.
- Follow the prompts and confirm — do this at least 48 hours before your next renewal.
- Decline any offers to stay.
- Confirm the membership shows as ending on your renewal date.
What happens after you cancel
You keep Uber One benefits until the end of the current billing period, then it won't renew. Uber generally doesn't refund the current period unless you cancel within a short window of being charged — request a refund via support if it renewed by mistake.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
If you subscribed to Uber One through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel through that store's Subscriptions section instead of in the Uber app.
