How to cancel Ubisoft+

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Ubisoft+ — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if Ubisoft+ bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel Ubisoft+ in 5 steps

  1. Sign in at ubisoft.com and open your Ubisoft+ subscription page (store.ubisoft.com/subscription).
  2. Select 'Cancel subscription' and follow the prompts.
  3. Confirm the cancellation.
  4. Cancel before your renewal date — Ubisoft+ auto-renews monthly.
  5. Confirm you receive a cancellation email.

What happens after you cancel

You keep access to the Ubisoft+ catalogue until the end of the current billing month, then it stops. Ubisoft+ bills monthly and doesn't refund the current month, so cancel before renewal. You can resubscribe later and keep your saves.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

If you subscribed to Ubisoft+ through the Xbox or PlayStation store, cancel there instead of on ubisoft.com.

Charged after cancelling Ubisoft+?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Ubisoft+ — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will Ubisoft+ charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Ubisoft+ keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Ubisoft+.
Does cancelling Ubisoft+ delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Ubisoft+'s settings.
How do I know my Ubisoft+ cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Ubisoft+ and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
