How to cancel Wondery+

A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling Wondery+ — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.

Before you click cancel: the moment you cancel is exactly when proof matters. CancelProof records your cancellation — the pages, the clicks, the confirmation — so if Wondery+ bills you after you cancel, you have a refund pack ready. Add to Chrome — Free

Cancel Wondery+ in 5 steps

  1. Cancel where you subscribed: wondery.com on the web, or your app store if you signed up in the app.
  2. Web: sign in → 'Account' → 'Subscription' → 'Cancel'.
  3. App store: open Subscriptions and select Wondery+ → 'Cancel'.
  4. If you got Wondery+ via Amazon Music/Prime, manage it in your Amazon account.
  5. Cancel before your renewal date.

What happens after you cancel

You keep Wondery+ until the end of the current billing period, then it stops renewing. Free trials convert to paid, so cancel before the trial ends. Deleting the app does not cancel billing — cancel where you subscribed.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

Most Wondery+ subscriptions are billed via the Apple App Store or Google Play — cancel in that store's Subscriptions section, not just by deleting the app.

Charged after cancelling Wondery+?

It happens more than it should. If a charge lands after you cancelled, here's how to get your money back from Wondery+ — and why documented proof is what makes the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Will Wondery+ charge me after I cancel?
It shouldn't. After you cancel, Wondery+ keeps your access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then stops billing. If a charge still appears, see our guide on being charged after cancelling Wondery+.
Does cancelling Wondery+ delete my account?
No. Cancelling stops future billing but usually keeps your account so you can return later. Deleting your account is a separate action in Wondery+'s settings.
How do I know my Wondery+ cancellation worked?
Look for a cancellation confirmation email from Wondery+ and check that your account shows the plan ending. Keeping that confirmation — an email or a screenshot — is your proof if there's ever a dispute.
