Cancel YNAB in 5 steps

  1. Sign in at app.ynab.com from a web browser (cancel where you subscribed).
  2. Open 'Account Settings' → 'Subscription' / 'Manage Subscription'.
  3. Select 'Cancel Subscription' and follow the prompts.
  4. Cancel before your renewal date — free trials convert automatically.
  5. Confirm you receive a cancellation email.

What happens after you cancel

You keep YNAB (You Need A Budget) until the end of the current billing period, then it won't renew. The free trial converts to paid, so cancel before it ends. YNAB has a generous support team that may refund a recent renewal on request.

Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's Subscriptions section instead — deleting the app does not stop billing.
