How to cancel YouTube TV
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling YouTube TV — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel YouTube TV in 5 steps
- Open tv.youtube.com in a web browser and sign in.
- Click your profile photo and select Settings.
- Open the Membership tab and click Manage next to your YouTube TV base plan.
- Select Cancel membership, then click Cancel to confirm.
- Save the confirmation email as proof that your membership was cancelled.
What happens after you cancel
You'll keep access to YouTube TV until the end of your current payment or free-trial period, then service stops and add-on networks are no longer available. Recorded programs in your Library are kept for 21 days after cancellation, and restarting later may make you ineligible for any promotional pricing you had.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
Important: If you signed up through Apple (iTunes), the cancel option won't appear in YouTube TV settings, you must cancel in your Apple subscriptions. Likewise, memberships purchased through a partner or provider bundle (such as certain mobile or TV providers) must be cancelled through that provider's account instead.
Charged after cancelling YouTube TV?
